  • What is the purpose of this group? Youth Talk Out is a youth empowerment group for LGBTQ+ youth to drop in and receive YOUTH DRIVEN PEER SUPPORT, NOT COUNSELING. Just a safe place to share feelings and ask questions.
  • What is the Role of the Leader & assistant? Our Leader and Assistant are both from the LGBTQ+ Community and are over 25 years old. Our staff have passed both CORI & SORI background checks. They are not counselors nor do they offer therapy – they offer direction of the conversation and ensure everyone remains in a safe place.
  • What is the Cost? This is a Free group and snacks are included.
  • Youth Talk Out is held at a Church is there a Religious undertone? No! St. Anne’s Episcopal Church is offering a FREE SAFE SPACE, that is the end of their participation. Should you choose to learn more about St. Anne’s Episcopal church – please know ALL are WELCOME.
  • What will be discussed? Please see our schedule page for a list of dates and topics. The topics may change based on the participants.
  • Will Parents / Guardians be able to participate in discussions? No! Youth Talk Out is for the youth and all discussions will be held in confidence.
